Other than four years in undergrad and our first year of marriage when we lived in a Farmington Hills apartment, I’ve lived in Livonia all my life. Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community? Alexander’s is my pick, though I only get there about once per year (if that). They run a good business, make good food, and have such a hometown feel. Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?Ĭan I say Mission BBQ even though it’s barely outside of Livonia? I love that place! Within our community, I’m a big fan of Bigg Burg at 7 & Farmington. I love the challenge of leading a team and figuring out how to help people work together more effectively. The best part of what I do is working with people to solve problems. Two years ago, I made another career change, and I now serve as Director of Lean for Barton Malow, a large general contractor. Almost five years later, I returned to Chrysler (which had become Fiat Chrysler) to work in product and portfolio planning. At 27, I left a job I loved to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity.

What do you love most about what you do?Īfter graduating from undergrad, I worked as a Jeep chassis engineer while completing my master’s degree at UM-Dearborn.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. We live about a mile from where I grew up and where my parents still live, so my kids get a lot of time with their grandparents. My wife and I have been married for almost 20 years.
